I recently listened to the Skylook (www.skylook.biz) interview on Venture Voice from August 2005 (http://www.venturevoice.com/2005/08/vv_show_9_-_jer.html).  Skylook ties together Skype and Outlook.  If you are frequent Skype user it has a few compelling features that are certainly worth the tiny price tag: "Skype™ Voice Calls (as MP3), Instant Messages, Email, Appointments, Contacts all organized and under control in Microsoft Outlook".  It is a cool idea but from what I can see the feature list is pretty short.  These guys are going to be constantly looking over their shoulder in fear that Skype will start shipping all the same features.  Hopefully Skype (well, eBay) just buys their technology.  Otherwise Skylook is in a risky position - they might wake up one day to discover Skype has destroyed their market with a free offering.
